Anyone is allowed to drop your child off at Lil’ Red Barn Academy. Only the persons listed on the registration form will be allowed to pick up your child. Every person needs to bring photo identification at pick up until that person is known by all staff members. If a family member comes to pick up your child and is not on the list, they will NOT be released to them unless we have prior verbal or written approval from a parent or guardian.

We do our best to comfort them and try to get them to focus on other things that they will enjoy. We also only have a small staff so the children become comfortable and familiar within a very short time. Our morning staff members always encourage the children to wave bye at the window to help them transition into our morning routine.
It is definitely an option but not preferred. Most children tend to have a more difficult time if the parent is coming into the classroom and then not taking them with them when they leave. This usually does not make the transition into our care easier. You are more then welcome to call and check on your child as much as you would like during the day.
Our center is a locked facility behind a locked door. You must have a code to enter the building. If we don’t recognize the person coming to the door to enter, a staff member will meet them at the door to see who they are and check identification before letting them in. We also have nine cameras throughout the facility as well.
We serve breakfast, morning snack, lunch, pm snack and an evening snack.
We accept children from 12 months-6 years (not enrolled in kindergarten).
